 University of California and University of Washington are both terrific

and are both on the West coast…short flight home…15-17hrs, Harry is on the East Coast- long flights 30hrs in total to get home.They will pay to have you row! Residences, FOOD, education, travel to regattas, hotels while at regattas, FOOD.Collect all those business cards. Harry went to the States 2 times by invitation (Harvard and Yale)to have a look. And he was invited to see Princeton; all paid; 2 day visit on the ground and flights time on top of that. He was gone 5 days each time.

IVY LEAGUE There are 8 IVY LEAGUE Universities in the US.IVY LEAGUE have a very high academic criteria. Harry is floundering a little but having fun at summer school catching up

ALL AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES; You would have to do SAT tests for their system and that is about $300 (all up with exam fee, drive cost and a hotel  in Auckland )to sit it and there are 2 separate exams-2 separate times. You have to have a US visa…about the same amount…traveling to Auckland to organize. That is all I have paid for, and flights there and  home for Harry at Christmas.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS The summer holiday is may 12-aug 28^th approx. Fares return for Harry from NY are $1600-1900 at that time of year, so I expect LA-AK is cheaper by a third at least. Although Harry’s trip home at Christmas (high Season is $3,500-$4000 return) But once again I wonder if other unis might chip in. Keep in mind.
