Our Rotorua rowers win their Quads

The ROWING NZ U18 High Performance North Island v South Island Regatta had our Rotorua scullers winning their quad events.

Claudia Hyde in the U18 NI Girls Quad and Riordan Morrell in the U18 NI Boys Quad. Claudia also won her single for the North Island Team yesterday.

Both quads powered through to make conclusive firsts. The North Island Boys 8+ did not retain the …….Trophy, which has been held by the North Island for the last  7 years. Unfortunately the Hamilton Boys High School 4 trialists came down with an illness, Mark James, coach of the SI Boys Quad, was telling me, and they cancelled a day before the trials.
