ROTORUA ROWING CLUB WINS  ‘2010 DELTA CORPORATION CLUB OF THE YEAR’ AT THE WAIARIKI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY BAY OF PLENTY SPORTS AWARD IN ROTORUA.

There were 160 nominations across all award types and only 4 were selected  as finalists for each category.

Congratulations to our finalists-

'Open Coach of the Year': Rob Francis and 'Secondary School Sportsman of the Year': Nigel Van Den Akker

The winner of the ‘Coach of the Year’ was Gordon Tietjens. Our Rob Francis was in impressive company. Congrats Rob!

The Secondary School Sportsman of the Year was Thomas Saunders of Tauranga Boys College.

Saunders won the Radial class in a 50 boat fleet at the 2010 International Sailing Federation Youth Worlds. Congrats Nigel !
