Hey,

It is getting close to the Elite World Champs, it has come around so fast. It is exciting to see the spectators stand is almost finished and the new course is up. Training has been going well, our boat that we rowed at U23 Worlds has just arrived so we are training out of that boat now and getting used to it. We are training every morning and afternoon except Sunday. We are into the speed work phase of training now so most mornings we are doing high rating pieces. We are doing a lot of sessions with the whole squad like 1500m and 500m sprints. Ten days out from our heat we are doing our last 2km race before Worlds.

I'm very excited to race, competition is going to be much more fierce than U23s. Our goal is to get on the podium so in every training session we work hard towards it. Lucy and I are so stoked that our first Elite world champs is in NZ so we can have lots support to push us across the line!

Thanks

Julia
