Worth the w-eight
The young  eight came 2nd in the Men’s Club Eight oar event and looks confident for a medal at the NZ Rowing Championships.
Coxed to victory by Shannon Boyce (JPC ) ; brothers Keegan Oxenham and Mania Oxenham(RBHS) , Matthew Cooper (RBHS), Hugh Spiers (WHHS), Turei Crew(RBHS) , Kelsey Crew(RBHS) , Jakob Zohs (JPC), Callum Taft (JPC) (stroke), were over the moon with their Silver medals ..
Rotorua rowers made some great finishes in the Premier events .The MENS PREM COXED EIGHT placed 3rd in the A Final:(6:09.03) with Rotorua’s Jeffrey Francis –presently rowing with the Regional Performance Centre Waikato(RPCW) crew aided by  a few Rowing NZ Heavyweights; including James Dallinger, (also - Shaun Kirkham (stroke) | McKenzie Macky | Tyna Williams |  Andrew Healey | Evan Kennedy | Michael Berry + Caleb Shepherd (cox))
Rotorua’s Riordan Morrell and Nigel Van Den Akker came in 1st in a Premier Division event –the MENS PREM COXLESS QUAD SCULLS

Julia Edward (Rotorua –rowing with the Rowing NZ Elite Team)RNZX placed 2nd in the WOMENS PREM COXLESS QUAD SCULLS and 3rd in the  WOMENS PREM DOUBLE SCULLS.
