Nigel Van Den Akker picked to trial for NZ JUNIOR squad

Nigel Van den Akker (John Paul College) will trialling for the Junior World Championships to be held in Racice, Czech Republic (4-8 August 2010)

Nigel is a big rower (he has always reminded me of my boy Harry) with a great style.

But what would I know huh? But I think he has what it takes

and I have always expected him to do great things in rowing ..

ERG til you drop Nigel – you have 9 days and Rowing NZ do the ERG trial first.

The trials dates; 6-13 April 2010.

No doubt selections will be made on the 13^th April after lunch.

Rowing NZ has no problem with visitors to the course for the4 trials.

It is deserted and fun !The boats time trial and seat race all day.
